Transloading

Tennessee Southern Railroad Co., Inc. has the ability to transfer freight from or to rail, truck, and barge. In addition to our capabilities at the Port Of Florence, Alabama, we are now able to unload railcars into truck or vise versa using our new "cross dock" facility located in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. We are currently unloading railcar loads of rolled paper into truck at the new dock. This gives non-rail served customers the ability to receive commodities by rail that would otherwise be restricted to truck transportation.
